OliveTally is a fully offline periodic table explorer and element quiz. It is built to be private by design: the elements, quizzes, and everything you do live entirely on your own device.
Information We Use
OliveTally does not ask you for personal information. The app may use a device identifier on your device to remember your preferences and provide basic app functionality.
The content you create while using the app — your favorite elements, quiz history, display name, and settings — is kept locally on your device so the app can work the next time you open it.
How Information Is Used
Information is used only to make the app work as you expect: to show your saved favorites, keep your quiz results, apply your chosen temperature unit, and remember your display name. All of this happens on your device.
Storage & Retention
Your data is stored in your device's local app storage. It remains only for as long as the app is installed. Removing OliveTally from your device clears everything it has saved.
Sharing
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with third parties. Because your data stays on your device, there is nothing for us to share.
Children's Privacy
OliveTally is suitable for a general audience, including students. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and no personal details are required to use the app.
Your Choices
You are always in control of your data. You can edit or clear your display name and favorites within the app at any time, and uninstalling the app permanently removes everything it has stored.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect improvements to the app. When we do, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
